Who’s Watching The Neighbor

Watching this Trayvon Martin case, my heart gets heavy. My heart goes out to his family. Especially his mother and father. He was in the prime of his life. 17 years old. Think back to what you were doing when you were 17. Kicking it at the movies. Going to prom. Graduating high school and preparing to go to college. Maybe that was some of the things that was on Trayvon’s mind as he was walking to Seven-Eleven to get him and his little brother some Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea. Maybe on Trayvon’s mind was his girlfriend’s well-being as he walked back home from Seven Eleven talking to her on the phone along the way. Certainly not on his mind was a neighborhood watch weirdo named George Zimmerman who just happened to start following Trayvon home and called 9-1-1.

A few problems here- We’ve had a few break ins?  Suspicious guy walking? Well, unless Zimmerman saw Trayvon’s legs dangling out of a side window of a house or a flat screen TV underneath his arms, I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t make me call 911 on a guy walking down the street minding his own business. He’s on drugs? Unless he was out there yelling at the stop sign to move out his way or thinking a raccoon is a kitty cat, then probably the drug reference here doesn’t apply. He’s up to no good? You know who’s up to know good? You are, Zimmie. And now you’re piling on, trying to spin something that’s not there into something that just doesn’t exist except in your own mind.

This wunderkind then goes on to say “He’s staring at me”. He’s staring at me?  Yeah, I would be staring if I had some weirdo slow rolling on me in his rig just waiting to pounce on me like he is going to abduct me and hold me for a small ransom.  That would make any body just a wee bit nervous. Then he says “He’s coming to check me out. I don’t know what his deal is”. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure what his deal was at that point. I got a freak following me slowly like a pedophile and it’s time to go. That probably was his mind-set.  This is why, Zimmie, he was running. To get away from a freak, fake wanna be cop like you who’s only thrill in life was to be the leader of your local neighborhood watch. And by the way, what part of ‘don’t follow him’ didn’t you understand, Zimmie? A pursuit occurs and then you here this.

We all know what happened at this point. One man has a 9 millimeter handgun and the other is laying in a pool of his own blood with only Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea in his hand. When are people going to get it? The true fact is while Zimmie was saying he was suspicious of Trayvon, the real suspicious one was Zimmerman. He’s the one following behind someone. He’s the one packing heat. And he’s the one who pulled the trigger killing young Trayvon. But no one talks about that. He got a pass because he was a suedo neighborhood watch dog. Protect the community from the big bad black man at all cost in the name of the neighborhood watch.

You said Zimmie, they always get away. Well, Zimmie, you are now one of those who gets away that you speak about in your 911 call. You got away with cold-blooded murder and now you’re running, hiding, and having your dad give the old ‘some of my best friends are black’ speech to the media. I really don’t care how many black friends you have or don’t have. All I care about is when is your Umpa Lumpa racist self is going to pay for what you did to this young kid with nothing but Skittles and Iced tea in his hand. Hopefully real soon, you will know how it feels to have someone be your judge and jury.

  1. I pray this guy gets the most severe punishment plus some. This is inexcusable [PERIOD]. You hit the nail on the head, this Zimmerman prick hunted this kid down and did the unthinkable. I find it as, if not more, appalling the police reaction to this. I really hope the family is able to take action against the perpetrator AND the police.

Great post, you really put it in perspective by taking people back to a time they may have forgotten. This kid honestly did nothing wrong here, and the black friends comment is a defense mechanism with no teeth. I can’t wait for the FL penal system to teach him how this feels.

  2. This is a really sad story in which I would only point that even in the case that Trayvon’s legs were dangling out of a side window or yelling at an stop sign, that is not a reason to kill anybody –if there is any reason at all, and much less by the hands of an asshole and racist watch dog.
