SO...........

SO… May 16, 2012

Well, Zimmie may have been telling the truth about part of his story after all. According to reports, medical reports show Zimmie did have a broken nose and lacerations on the back of his head 1 day after the altercation with Trayvon Martin. Although this could be a game changer, I really don’t think so. Just like I have said not to break out the championship tees and hats when Zimmie was arrested, people in his posse should take the same advice and let the facts play out. I know some of you supporters of Zimmie think that the guy is all innocent and justified in doing what he did, but sorry to bust your bubble, he wasn’t. The case is going to be a roller coaster ride, so lets just go with the flow and see where it goes.

Fans of the BET show “The Game”, start breaking out your crying towels because according to a source,  lead actress Tia Mowrey has left the show and will not return. The source? Herself! She announced it via her Twitter saying

“Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun.

I don’t know what it is with BET, but unless it’s something negative, the network can’t seem to keep it together. Their original programming is horrible. And now one of its top rated shows is losing one, possibly 2 of its stars because also in the report Mowrey’s TV husband

Pooch Hall will not be returning either. You know it’s bad when two of the shows stars who fought so hard to get it back on the air, decide we’re out 2 years into getting it back on the air. Memo to BET: Pull it together, pay some writers, and get your original programming together before the whole network goes fade to black.

And

I wrote a post back in April called Way To Much Time On Your Hands Guy/Gal (see April archives) It was a list of things people were doing while having just having way to much time to think of stuff to do. Well last night, I found one more.

My wife and I watched this HBO documentary called when “When Strangers Click”from 2010. It was about meeting and falling in love online. Now, for the record, I have no problem with people meeting online, E Harmony, speed dating, or whatever. So near the end of documentary we met

Jonas Tancred. A guy who lives in Sweden who becomes

Bara Jonson. Strangely, a highly successful musician in 2nd Life anime. So I thought weird, but OK, whatever does it for you. I mean, the guy get real bookings for gigs in 2nd life like an actual concert all over the world. But that wasn’t the thing that struck me. Later during the doc, he meets a 2nd life chick

Nickel Borrelly aka Beth Hayes from Missouri. They really start anime dating and kicking it like this

At one point, they go to a virtual mall and buy virtual gear with actual money! Real dollars! Crazy, but whatever.  The kicker of the documentary was when they did this to the tune of 500 dollars.

A anime wedding! Can you say way too much time on your hands! Does this fit in that category? It’s cheaper to go down to your local courthouse and tie the knot. Spending 500 bones on something that is make-believe is just not fresh. How much will it run if you guys what an anime divorce? How will it work if you want a trail anime separation? Where do you find an anime divorce lawyer if this doesn’t work out? How do you divide the anime property? I don’t know, but good luck to these 2, who by the way met in real life, had a drunken night of sex and now they have a kid. Cartoon love with a real kid. Isn’t how some people are in real life?

  1. Oooh, that anime couple…creepy! 😦

And, yeah, the information that’s coming out in the Zimmerman case is getting crazy. Not sure why this is being put out there before the trial, because it seems to serve no purpose other than giving the media some ratings and causing further pointless speculation by the public. Like you said, it is – and will be – a roller coaster ride, right up until the end.
